There are some nice pictures, but i still rather one photographer book…
May be I went a little too fast buying this one… This is not the kind of photography I usually like, but the pictures are great, and the work is good. I may give it away someday, or look at it very carefully and learn from it. Let’s give it some time.
Looking at it again, it’s really great work. Good possibility that I do keep it.
Published by Patrick Frey, in 2009, bought through Amazon… 84 euros. Oups. The book is a special edition signed and numbered, 2500 copies. I have 2191.
Status Quo, Rick Parfitt 1978 ; Motorhead, Lemmy Kilmister 1980
It seems this strawberry … let’s say t-shirt… was very fashionable end of the 70’s.
This book is really great. It shows bands like in a family album, not a magazine shoot. I’m sorry our pictures don’t really show the best pages… When you’ll have this book in your hands, you’ll have the chance to look at pictures of Barclay James Harvest on a boat, wearing great 70’s tight swimsuits, Uriah Heep with his kid in the kid’s room with a nice cartoon wall-paper, Blackfoot playing babyfoot, etc…
The only bad point for this book is its smell, a mix of paper, glue, varnish… But it’s a small bad point.
