In the early morning hours of September 5, 1982, Johnny Gosch, a twelve-year-old paperboy, set out with his red wagon and his dog to deliver the Des Moines Sunday Register.

He was last seen on this street at approximately 6 a.m., talking to a man in a dark blue car. Despite a nationwide search, he is still missing.
