Do you remember we went to London, a couple of weeks ago ?
Well here is what we bought at Claire de Rouen (121-125 CHaring Cross Road).
We arrived at the shop on the friday late afternoon, but we had to come back, because they were closing. We spoke 5 minutes with Claire, and then reorganised our schedule to come back on the saturday morning.
On the Saturday, Claire and the doggy were not there anymore, but we were surrounded by books, and we learnt that Claire is not coming from Rouen, she got this name through her husband.
Now, the books.
The first one is Clare Richardson’s.
Published by SteidlMack, 2007. That one was £20.
I love the old feeling of that book : old design (sorry we didn’t take a picture for that), and the theme. It feels like it’s old time, old world again.
and people are so expressive in the pictures.
Don’t ask me why this woman is up the tree.
This is a very nice book, that I highly recommend, I think some of my friends may have this as birthday presents…
